Seedling Sale 2010

This year’s Seedling Sale took place on Sunday 16th May. After a late spring, a spell of low temperatures during the first half of the month, and a couple of damaging overnight frosts just a few days before the Sale, it was a miracle anyone had any seedlings to sell at all. Yet both buyers and sellers turned out, and plenty of business was done. All proceeds went towards ongoing improvements on the site. Many thanks to all the volunteers who supplied plants, set up and dismantled the stall, helped out behind the till, and ensured the Seed Store Cafe was stocked with delicious home-made cakes.
