There is now an easy way to dispose of longer prunings and cuttings from your allotment – we have built a new dead hedge frame near the beehive area.

Beekeeping is a fascinating, addictive, expensive and rewarding hobby.

There have been beehives at the RPA for many years, tended by experienced beekeepers with plots on the periphery so that the bees can forage without causing too much disruption.

The vehicle gates will be open once more from Saturday 13th April onwards, as the road works are complete. Thank you all for your patience. As you will see, the roads are now in a much better state than they have been for years.

The work on the roads and gates is starting and there is a diversion in place to steer plotholders away from the danger area.
